Kimberly 

I’m Kimberly, one of the owners and creators of Aura Juicery. I have a background in Speech Pathology and Orofacial Myology and I am the proud mom of one beautiful daughter. When I was a kid, I was very active and into sports and dance and loved being outside to play. As a family, we always had healthy food in the house, but I still had sensitivities and allergies to the preservatives and chemicals in a lot of processed foods. I developed severe food allergies to things like MSG and learned at a very young age that eating whole foods was so important in order to stay healthy, have more energy and feel good. I achieved my masters degree in Speech Pathology in Buffalo and worked for 15 years providing both pediatric and adult therapy to address speech, language, oral motor deficits, feeding and swallowing patients. In college, I made smoothies every morning packed with fruits, vegetables and protein to help me get through long days of classes and working. Over the years, I developed a passion for nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle and began talking to my patients about the importance of eating healthy. In 2013, my daughter was born and I began making her home-made pureed foods and smoothies as well. However, as a working mom, I noticed it was so hard to find healthy options that were convenient with our busy schedule.  I made it my mission to stay focused on our little families’ health and firsthand saw how much the food we eat truly affects us. This made me determined to help as many others as I could and some day build a place that people could find convenient, whole food options that they could truly feel good about! I took classes and spoke with nutritionists to further grow my community of like-minded health enthusiasts as well as my passion and knowledge. Soon after this, I met my partners, Jimmy and Tara at truly the right time for everything to come together and knew that we could build something special. So, the idea of Aura Juicery was born! I stepped away from providing therapy to others to follow my heart to create a place with a vibrant healthy menu, pure ingredients and good vibes for everyone. Aura represents the qualities and feelings that we can invoke in ourselves, in others and how food we consume can help promote these qualities and feelings within us. It is our mission at Aura to help provide healthy, whole food juice, smoothies and food items that nourish your mind and body. I am so excited for what the future holds for us and what we can bring to our community here in Western New York. Think well, love well, eat well with us. Remember, you Aura really is your Superpower!
